People always look for ways to live a better, happier, peaceful, and healthy life. However, for some reason, very few people have succeeded in fulfilling these goals. When we look around, we notice that there are a lot of people with health issues, who are fatigued from their weight and the diseases that come with it, who are restless and unhappy.

So, are there any practical solutions to overcome these problems or do they require a radical change?

Why is the word 'balance' used so frequently in the context of balanced diet? What is the significance of the word "balance"? To be healthy and peaceful, what should we eat, what habits should we change?

Balance, Balance in Every Moment of Life...

Everyone who follows me and reads my articles and attends my trainings knows very well the value I place on the word “balance”. Without balance, the true worth of whatever accomplished is not recognized, there is no pleasure, and there is no peace.There will be balance and an awareness of the balance, so the reactions to the events will change and so we will live more happily and peacefully. Today we will talk about nutrition. The most important aspect of nutrition, as in all other aspects of life, is balance.

Extremes and an unbalanced lifestyle are always harmful and cause disease. In fact, we will not talk about anything different about nutrition. It should be the basic principle of everyone to be careful not to overdo while eating.Because unhealthy eating habits or overeating are based on guilt and fear rather than on love, wisdom, or balance.

Balanced Life and Health

When you live in accordance with your values and life purpose, you make more sensible and balanced decisions in order to make the best use of your life energy, as you will always see in our articles on balance or in our YouTube works.

When you try to live by other people's values, you make foolish and imbalanced decisions because you're unhappy and lost.

The Connection Between Our Diet and Our Life Purpose

When we examine this approach in terms of nutrition, we discover the following result:

The way we eat and the meaning we attach to nutrition is about whether we find our own point of meaning. People who try to live by the values of others develop foolish and imbalanced eating habits as a result of their dissatisfaction and sense of loss.Why do you think we eat? To survive or to be fed? What drives us to eat?

While people who have found their life's purpose and live in accordance with their values eat to survive, people who are lost and disconnected from their values live to eat.

There is not much difference between food and some other addictions. Food, just like any other addiction, can be a way for people who are not satisfied with their life to suppress some of their emotions.

How Should We Eat? Should We Change Our Eating Habits?

Some people don't feel hungry even if they eat less, do they? When you're working hard or when you're trying to accomplish something, you don't often think about food, right?

Yes, my dear readers, while food is the last thing that comes to mind for someone who has a purpose for living , it is the first thing that comes to mind for someone a person who has lost his connection to the meaning of life.

 

So, what and how shall we eat? Shall we change our our deeply ingrained eating habits that we have grown accustomed to and adopted? We, as soon as possible, should adopt better and balanced eating habits, or, as I say, "wise nutrition". Wise eating can also be defined as "eating foods rich in vitamins and minerals that are good for us and give us energy."

What Should We Not Eat?

One of the primary causes of stress is the deterioration of our intestines' health and inflammation in our bodies. All foods that put our bodies under excessive stress will lower our energy, make us feel bad, and prevent us from realizing who we are.

People who live in accordance with their values would never wish for this to happen. So, they eat foods that are good for them, give them energy, and allow them to live their lives to the fullest, that is they always eat a balanced diet.

Sugary and high-fat foods, in particular, alter our brain chemistry. As a result, these foods promote the habit of overeating. This is referred to as HEDONIC HUNGER. Hedonic hunger is a state of hunger that we experience even when our bodies do not actually require it. This is one of the primary causes of obesity, which affects everyone.

Normally, the hypothalamus regulates our hunger. This is accomplished through the production of leptin and ghrelin. Leptin stabilizes it by decreasing dopamine secretion and increasing ghrelin. Dopamine secretion is out of balance when we eat sugary and fatty foods, as it is in people who gamble or are addicted to cocaine.

What Should We eat?

If you struggle with weight, you cannot overcome it unless you change your diet .Please be aware that only raising your activity level or going the gym won't be enoughto solve your problem. In order to get rid of weight problems, you need to change your eating habits and lifestyle completely.

Vegetables, fruits, whole-wheat products, olive oil, nuts and the diet we refer as the Aegean diet help to reduce inflammation.These foods make us feel healthier and more balanced for the very same reasons. In general, it occurs people tend to consume sugary and fatty foods, overuse coffee, salt, alcohol, or drugs when they do not live up to their values. When we have a satisfying life experience, we feel content and at peace. No matter what occurs in our lives, we feel full, satisfied, balanced in such a condition. When we have a positive life experience, we feel content and at peace.
